A simple way of implementing touch gestures on a web app

I like the simplicity of the library. I also like the fact that it's a web library, that means you don't need to install anything. I also like that it doesn't have a high learning curve. The only thing I disliked was that you can't use it in Firefox. I think it's a great library, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a simple way to implement touch gestures on their webapp. I used it to make a simple website that would allow the user to interact with it by just touching the page. It…

Pros
  • Great support from other developers online if something goes wrong or needs debugging. It looks good when implemented into your project as well!
Cons
  • Nothing really comes up at first glance

Hammer.JS - Easy way introduce simple gestures

The ease of which you can add gesture support, even if it's just for clicks (or right-clicks).The flexibility with how to implement it -- whether that be by using native code or via JS libraries like hammerjs! There are some issues with detecting mouse movements at times but I don't think this is an inherent issue so much as specific use cases where things aren't exactly working out correctly. If there was more documentation around handling situations when events occur outside of what appears…

Pros
  • Gesture recognition works great.
  • Easy integration into websites
  • Can create custom gestures.
  • Supports touchscreens along wth mice&keyboards
Cons
  • Documentation could definitely improve

Great alternative to jquery mobile and others

It's easy enough for beginners, but has all of those great options that allow you greater control over how it works with different browsers/screen sizes; I don't have any specific dislikes about this tool other than maybe if there was an easier way (other then just writing some JavaScript) or something more intuitive when using its API in terms of understanding what is going wrong during development phase? So far so good! Have used many javascript tools such as jQuery Mobile before coming…

Pros
  • It seems easier then other javascript tools for me to focus on the overall process of building things without needing to focus on the details of the DOM and styling
Cons
  • Maybe a bit overwhelming for beginners with how much functionality it provides?

It's very easy to use, it has great documentation and examples that help you understand how to implement what you need in your project. I think they could improve some aspects of their product like for example adding support for different browsers (Chrome, Firefox etc.). If you have any doubt about implementing hammerjs into your application just contact them or ask questions in their forums. We are using it to build an app that allows users to edit photos by dragging around elements like…

Pros
  • Easy To Use
  • Good Documentation And Examples Available
  • Great Community Of Users With A Lot More Experience Than Me That Can Help You When In Need :)
Cons
  • Some difficulties
