Shinco received this unit on 7/26/21 and it worked for about 4 weeks. Then he did not draw water into the tank and heated it outside the device. I then smelled burned so I turned it off and emailed the company. Didn't get an answer from them. I hope they will replace it for free or refund the money. I will continue this review after receiving a reply from you.

The box arrived in good condition. Easy to set up. The drip hose that kept the device running continuously was a bit difficult to get over the drip hole, but I used a masked marker and a marker to widen it just enough to slide in. The tubing is a bit short for our space, but we had an extra piece of tubing from another project that worked. Works great in our basement. This "musty smell from Grandma's basement" disappeared after 1 week.

This is the third time I have bought a dehumidifier and this time I am very satisfied, only used one night. The items were packaged very nicely and the item is small but very effective and I was very happy to take it down to the basement. I decided and bought because of the very high humidity in our house. My house is over 100 years old, and so are the windows. The humidity in the basement between the outside temperature and our washer, dryer and fridges was actually causing mold on our underlying wooden floor! I bought this dehumidifier because it was supposed to cover 2000 square feet but it doesn't! I have 1100 square meters.
