We rented a boat for a holiday in mid September but the forecast was unseasonably cold weather and overcast skies for the duration of the trip. Knowing I would be in and out of the water a lot, I wanted something that would make me cringe without the discomfort of a full wetsuit. I am very happy that this jacket was exactly what I needed. Due to the foggy, wet mornings and heavy cloud cover most days, I wore this jacket almost constantly, both in the water and on the boat. I'm 5ft 11in, 165lbs and the size Large fits me perfectly; It was thick and dense enough to keep me warm in the water, yet roomy enough to wear as a jacket all day on the boat. It meant the difference between constant discomfort and a really fun time. I felt comfortable the whole time and had a great time!
