Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhance Cleaning Efficiency with Envirocare Oreck XL Replacement Roller Brush Assembly by Wendy Owens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Oreck XL brush is the best of the brush heads and brushes

Background: The Oreck was given to us about 8 years ago because it didn't work. I disassembled it and found that the intake manifold was completely clogged and the drive belt snapped. Both fixed and we've been using it ever since, no problems. I figured the brush might need to be replaced, it was gaining weight anyway, but I found out later that it was due to the strong suction. Orek emailed asking if there is a way to tell when the brush needs to be replaced. Yes, place a ruler across the opening of the brush and if you can't see the bristles, it's time to replace them. OK. I ordered this device from Revain. When he arrived he took the Oreck apart and removed the old brush, noting that it was marked 'new' and 'old'. Hmmm, of course I didn't realize she was gone. When I look at the new one, yes, it was labeled that way too. There are no instructions so I quickly went to YouTube and watched a 90 second video (what did we do before the internet?) and found the 'new' one with the device on the floor closest should be. Assembled and it works great. Observations: Remove the bottom of your oreck and see if you can alternate "new" with "old". For the time being, avoid changing the brush. If you order this device, [.] will get some straps as these are the weakest point of these machines. Have a Phillips #1 or #2 (bladed) screwdriver at least 4 inches long for disassembly. The new "multipurpose" screwdrivers with interchangeable bits are too thick to reach the screws.
