Device is defective on this binding cable. This cord is rated for dogs up to 60 pounds, but my 17 pound dog ran after the postman and ended up breaking the silver loop cylinder. Thank god I was able to dive in, grab the end of the line and catch her. Avoid this if you don't want your dog to break away and get hit by a car. ***** Update 12/20/2019 I have contacted Revain to request a refund for this cable. They offered a refund for 1 of the 3 I own as 'one off'. They said to wait until the other 2 failed before giving them a refund. Don't take chances with my dog. Revane, can you say the same about the child car seat? That disagreement over a few dollars turned into a muted insult.
