This toy has been in our possession for all of 2 hours and I already regret the purchase with every fiber of my being. First of all, the sound is insanely loud. The plane plays a 5 second tune (literally the most annoying tune anyone could have come up with. It’s like they actively tried to pick the worst tune in existence) and then plays a taking-off sound. It plays both of these on loop the entire time it’s turned on. It is so loud that I’ve told my child he can only play with it turned on while he’s outside with the door closed and I’m not out there with him, there is just no way I can handle the noise. I wish there was a way to disable the sound and just keep the lights and the driving ability.The other reason it’s annoying af is because it’s cheaply made and the wings fall off constantly. The wings are made to come off for easy shipping and they pop right back on, but my kid can’t pop them on himself and they’ve fallen off no fewer than 20 times in the 2 hours we‘ve had the plane. So I send him outside to play with the plane because it’s so insanely loud and he’s inside with the loud plane within 2 minutes asking for help to fix the plane. It’s just awful and I would return it immediately if he didn’t love it so much.Tonight I’m going to try to take apart the plane and disable the sound box and hope the lights and driving still work. If that doesn’t work, I’m removing the batteries. I had originally purchased this for my child to bring on a plane trip with us next week, if I let him bring this plane with all of its noise abilities still in place, we would no doubt be thrown off the plane.
