I bought this to hang my Xbox on the wall behind the monitors. What I particularly liked about this model is the arrangement of the mounting holes. Was one of the few that had vertical center holes for mounting individual racks in the wall. The mounting screw on the back simply screws into the bracket and goes through the ventilation grille on the back of the Xbox - this prevents the console from slipping out. doesn't really bind anything to the console.
