Review on πŸ“· SIRUI P-326 Carbon Fiber Monopod - 6 Sections by Talapon Blackburn

Best photo purchase I've made in a long time

I had a tremor and pretty much gave up photography 3 years ago because my shots were too blurry at regular ISOs. I was on a trip to Italy and just wanted to try a few things so I bought this monopod. It was the lightest and shortest (6 section) monopod I could find. It was well made and strong. It has a bottom tip that can be configured as a tip or soft rubber stand so you can prop it up on any surface. It has a clip that I was able to attach to the belt loop. Because it's so short, you can wear it and it won't get in the way. I was able to snap photos in 1/30th of a second and they were SHARPNESS. Like the good old days when I had steady hands. A few very minor complaints. You should check from time to time that it is tightly screwed. Once it came loose and fell on the street and I had to put it back together. Also, there is a useless band between the belt clip and the monopod, which broke when the monopod was dropped. I just attached the clip directly to the ring; A fabric strap is completely superfluous. If you can't find a lighter, shorter and more durable monopod then this is for you. The specifications were superior to the much more expensive monopods from companies like Manfrotto.

Pros
  • Monopods
Cons
  • Some bugs
