I originally bought these to hang and these black metal lamp posts around my patio. But after realizing that they could run on 12v DC we decided to take them to our RV and our final weekend getaway. This cord has a long section that plugs into an outlet with an easy access dial button attached to the cord. The selector has a power button that also activates the timer, and it's red with a circle and a straight line, which is the universal symbol for on/off. The button above is the mode and there are so many light pattern combinations to list! Then this combination is increased by the brightness keys + and -. Each flashlight has a molded, durable plastic connector with a keyhole tab. This allows me to use airplane cord to quickly tug these lights on our camping shed and elevate them when not in use on our patio poles.
