Great board but only one CPU fan header and one chassis header

Pretty solid board. I bought 2 of these and both work well and are generally easy to set up. Although it says so in the description, I missed it. Small note, but there is only one CPU fan header and one other fan header. I ended up having to use a splitter as a case fan wouldn't cut it. I understand the B450 boards are smaller, but given modern components I can't think of a build that doesn't require multiple case fans. Even the PC I built for my wife, which I built without a GPU, required 2 case fans in addition to the CPU cooler; (Large 200mm front and 140mm rear) This may not be an issue for you if your case has built-in fan support. But then again, even 2 fan headers would be fine. Also, there is no actual instruction manual included. with the board, although you can download it from Gigabyte's website. I wish this was enabled as I needed to connect case headers etc. I also have the latest x470 from Gigabyte which comes with several fan headers and a full board manual. It also costs 3 times more. In general, this is very beneficial for a relatively cheap board.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive
