My child LOVES ladybugs around the house and wears shoes. This is the best of both worlds as it has a firmer and more supportive bottom. I bought it large so we could grow into it, but they seem pretty true to size. The picture is pretty much what she looks like. They have a soft upper and no elastic at the heel, which I like. Sometimes that chewing gum can be annoying.
