The lemons I buy are too big for the average lemon squeezer so they fit nicely in this juicer. This does not apply to medium and large oranges. However, the metal is a bit flimsy (I think others are heavier). The loops are fine, not strong, I hand wash them. However, my main complaint, which might make me look for a replacement, is that the design holds water in the grips. After air drying, quite a lot of water will flow out when collected for storage or reuse, defeating the purpose of air drying. I've learned to shake it after washing it, but not everyone in my family will do the same.
