I bought them for my car and truck but ended up giving two of my daughters for their vehicles and used one each in mine. Then they ordered more for themselves because they make AWESOME tablet holders in the back seat where the kids can easily reach them. My son had to bend them a bit so they don't stick out so much when they have nothing to hold, but we use them A LOT to hold tablets and phones to entertain the backseat passengers. A great purchase for that reason alone! They're not very "sturdy" on their own, but I can't say I'll ever use them to hold something that weighs more than my bag. Of course, my handbag is smaller than many women's. lol. But I love that I can easily flip them forward when I'm alone and hang my purse on the hook, which is always great when someone can relate to stepping on the brakes and from the front seat Hitting objects on the dashboard or floorboards. maybe i'm just getting cut off? In any case, it's great!
