I had to tilt it slightly because the stand didn't match the wall anchor
this item is beautiful. but I had to align the wall anchors about 5 degrees from vertical to make the towel rail look 180 degrees vertical. so . The wall anchors did not match the post and ring perfectly. No problem once I noticed it. Just be careful, before installation, make sure that the hidden anchor holes match the user-visible part of the towel rail.
