Case arrived a day early and was packaged in a sturdy plastic card sleeve. It came exactly as described with nice leather embossing and strong stitching. There was some discoloration on the back and a thick dent running all the way through. My iPad Air 4 fits snugly in the protective case. I was concerned that the Apple Pencil can be charged because the body is precision cut, but the Apple Pencil can still be clipped to the side for charging. There is an extra piece of skin that I don't know the purpose of. It seems like a pretty sturdy case, more decorative than anything else, but as long as you're not banging it on concrete and throwing it against walls, it's a good investment.
