Review on Renewed Apple MacBook Air: 11.6-Inch HD+ Laptop πŸ’» with Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD by Aashiva Pal ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

This review is for the junior model in the line (i5, 4 GB memory, 128 GB disk). On the 2022 model, the ugly Yosemite was originally installed, while on the models of previous years you can not upgrade to this squalor. The whole point of the 2022 model comes down to a slightly faster new generation processor and a second generation thunderbolt port (which almost no one uses anyway.). Thus, for the same money it is better to buy an older model of the previous generation, and it will be more productive despite a slightly slower processor.

Pros
  • It's still the same well-built small long-lived laptop with all its good qualities.
Cons
  • The younger model is distinguished by a slow SSD drive - the system brakes appear when it is heavily loaded, for example, when uploading and downloading torrents at the same time; and Apple is in no hurry to fix this shortcoming - the drive has not changed since 2022.

In general, the device is good for everyone, but here's the screen. Why do they still make huge frames, it would be possible to put such a screen as on macbook 12 and it would be a perfect Mac
