I have used other DutyBox products and liked them so I decided to try DutyBox liquid toilet cleaner. First I'll just get it out of the way. I can't bring myself to use this product for anything other than the toilet. I can't break the psychological barrier by using the same bathroom and toilet cleaner. Also, it's blue, and I wouldn't put anything blue in the tub or on the floor, even if it doesn't mess up the toilet. I have an old house, that is, old metal pipes. So I get quite a lot of mineral deposits and rust spots in the toilets. Two of the three toilets in the house are also old, so porcelain is not as easy to clean as a new toilet. All of this means cleaning the toilet is quite a chore, and many of the cleaners I've tried over the years just don't work that well. So I challenged this DutyBox product pretty well. I found the DutyBox to be as clean as some of the big name brands I've used and even slightly better than some of them. I felt like I used a little more to get good coverage in the bowl over the water. It didn't seem to spread that much when I squirted it under the rim. He clung to the bowl pretty tight. The scent was pleasant but not overpowering. I had to rub about the same amount as usual. I love the idea of a refillable refill bottle. One refill equals one bottle, giving you the equivalent of 4 bottles with this purchase. You can buy rods (as an option on this page) for the same price but with 6 rods. I don't see how to open refill packs other than with scissors. It got a little messy pouring the supplement into the bottle when it got into my hands and dripped into the bottle. I haven't had this problem with other DutyBox products. I don't know if the neck of the bottle is smaller or the neck is bevelled, but it's a bit awkward. In general I like the product.
