The Toothbrush Holder is a small device that you place your toothbrush head in for sterilization. It uses ultraviolet rays for sterilization. The bag is small enough to carry around and very handy when travelling. You can wall mount it, but I have a heavy electric toothbrush, so I only use it while sitting on the bathroom countertop. It fits and holds almost all types of toothbrushes. There is only room for one toothbrush at a time. The device came pre-charged so I was able to test it as soon as I received it. The device is rechargeable. It comes with a charging cable and there is a connector on the device. The device and the heating element turn on automatically when the lid is closed. There is also a power button that can be used to turn the device on. When in use, it makes a low hum. You don't know it, but bathroom surfaces are breeding grounds for bacteria. As with my phones, I prefer to keep my toothbrush under a sterilizing lamp so I don't literally bring bacteria into my mouth.
