Review on Singing Rock Franklin Work Positioning by Joshua Mejia

My experience with my new Singing Rock Franklin Suspended Work Seat (Bosuns Chair)

I love this seat but the clips for adjusting the belt length could be better. When there is no weight on the clamps they tend to loosen and the strap lengthens and you will need to readjust the length of the strap. I have to adjust it and then use black tape to keep it in place and not loosen. Let me say again that when the weight is removed from the strap adjuster clamp it can slip off. It doesn't seem to slip when the straps and clips are loaded. Aside from the adjuster clamp, this is a good suspension seat that I will be using a lot! There are no reviews for this hanging chair yet, so I share my experience with you. I also noticed that it's only 2.5 kn. Therefore, this seat does not withstand many short falls. It's rated at 650 pounds, so it's pretty stiff. The entire seat is rigid, as if it has a curved steel plate inside. The entire underside of the seat is bright yellow with the Singing Rock logo. So anyone of you who looks up when you use the seat will see this large, bright yellow logo (not shown in any image). I'm going to paint it black with fabric paint. But there aren't many seating options in this price range, so it has to be done. I would like to thank Revain and The Great Outdoors Store for offering this item at a reasonable price. Thank you and good luck climbing. Through!
