Verify that the middle screw is present on the duplex connector.
Received on Sunday - very fast delivery. The product works great with one caveat: make sure the duplex jack you want to use has a center screw. This product is designed to be used with a central mounting screw. If you don't use the middle screw, the device will pop out of the socket when you unplug the cable or USB plug. I ended up using a surge protector on a duplex center screw outlet near the kitchen counter. People can charge their devices while visiting. The green light from above works very well as a night light.
