This nifty inflator is small, lightweight and well-machined. I have used it with ease. The neoprene collar is great to place over the cartridge to keep my hands from getting frost from the cartridge. The dial valve allows me to gradually let the tire inflate. I have to make sure that I screw the inflator all the way onto the stem but not overtighten. The neck of the device swivels so you may think that it's born in place but it is. Make sure to hold the inflator straight in line with the valve stem so it doesn't inadvertently angle the pin and cause gas to leak out if the tire. Wait a bit for the frost to clear and slowly unscrew the inflator from the stem (some folks report that they accidentally unscrewed the valve out if the stem because it was frozen to the inflator - If you wait a minute or so this should not be a problem). I bought another for my bike buddy. Highly recommend.
