Mixed feelings on diagnostic, test and measurement tools

For "lightweight" applications this is a good option. It is not at all suitable for applications such as programming or even resetting some modules. You have to pay extra for software that "may" help you, but not for all car brands. Example: Nissan Altima 2015, clear airbag codes (not good, just cleared non-permanent codes), TPMS programming not available. Adding a remote key is not possible unless you delete ALL fobs you may have, including the current one and the one in your vehicle, to start adding fobs. A bit risky if you don't know exactly what you're doing. Really good for reading OBD codes (like most and cheaper diagnostic scanners). In other words, it doesn't help me. The only plus point is that the goods can be returned.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
