Review on πŸ’Ύ Black SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive (Model: SDCZ880-256G-G46) by Matt Woodward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The biggest and fastest flash drive I've ever used.

The biggest and fastest flash drive I've ever used is the best. See attached Crystal DiskMark score. I have a previous 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro and was very happy with it, but it was filling up so I bought it when the 256GB version came out. Other reviews mentioned that the new, larger model was a bit slower than the previous 128GB model, but I found it was actually a bit faster. (Both are great!) The new black is different from the previous silver, but to my pleasant surprise, it's black with a metal body instead of plastic like the previous model. It feels very durable and is very easy to attach to your keychain and carry around in your bag. I keep it on my keychain so I can sync files at work and then sync those same files to my home computer. With 256GB to play with, you can back up most or all of your hard drive to a flash drive. Update: I temporarily downgraded the rating to 4 stars because when trying to upload a large number of folders to the USB stick, it showed "full" long before it was actually full. I only uploaded about 50GB so something was wrong. I did a "full" reformat from exFAT to NTFS rather than just a "quick" format and the full reformat seemed to fix the problem. It's been a year now and I haven't had any problems since I reformatted to NTFS. So I'm giving back five stars. If you buy, I strongly recommend doing a "Full" reformat to NTFS. It's also the best and fastest flash drive out there and I highly recommend it if you're a "power user".
