Review on Enhanced 64GB Pro Plus 600X SDXC Memory Card, UHS-I V30 U3 Class 10 by Buddy Camaney

Positively surprised! Outstanding performance at a bargain price!

I am positively surprised by this SD card. This card is Class 3 (U3) UHS-1 and has a certified minimum write speed of 30MB/s. v30 is another recently proposed certification for a minimum write speed of 30MB/s in video mode. As other reviewers point out, there is NO v30 sticker on the SD card I received. I think I received an old pack of the same product. From a usability and performance perspective, it makes no difference as the certification never shows up in the communication log. I'm glad Verbatim prints both write speed and read speed on the card. Typically, manufacturers do not advertise the write speed, as this is often lower than the read speed. High write speed is very important for camera users when recording a large amount of data in burst mode or high-bandwidth 4K video, and read speed is not so important. At first I was skeptical about the specified write speed of 80 MB/s. Can you get a product with the same performance for 3/5 the price of the SanDisk Extreme and half the price of the Extreme Pro? After receiving the product and doing tests, I'm sure the answer is YES. It's much faster than Extreme and on par with Extreme Pro. I ran CrystalDiskMark twice, the results are below. I used a cheap USB 3.0 card reader, so I expect better results with better cards. Read speeds of 82MB/s and write speeds of 74MB/s are exactly as advertised and as expected. I've never heard of Verbatim. They look serious and have been in the industry for decades. I can't say much about its reliability, but I'll update if I run into any issues. In summary, I'm pleasantly surprised at how fast an SD card is at such a low price.
