The material this tube is made of makes the grips very good for hitting rocks, trees etc. I've taken this tube on four river trips this summer and it has never let me down. Patch cords make bundling easy, and if you need to disconnect quickly, there's never a problem. I'm rating this 4 stars because the seal on the pipe is wearing out at the feet. It looks like it's starting to smear from a mixture of water and friction. * PRO TIP: When you first take it out of the box, blast it. Leave it overnight and then inflate it again. The material is designed to stretch the first time. So if you wait until you reach the river and blow it up, expect it to blow away in the middle of your river experience. A pre-blast will help prevent this and give you a more secure feeling while you're in the middle of your summer fun.
