So far so good. i just got it All hatches and seals work. I of course completely disassembled it to wash it before use and find that all the pieces snap back into place with ease and the flexible blue rings look very high quality. beaker. Mine is used to store Bob's Red Mill 8 grain cereal. Two 27-ounce packs are perfect. The size and shape is most convenient for placing on the fridge shelf where I want the cereal to stay cool and not go stale over time. Usually these containers don't withstand shock like being dropped on a hard surface, so I keep that in mind. It's clear that no container is perfect, but I hope I don't drop it. If there are any issues I will flag it but for starters all parts work great. UPDATE: I've been using it for a few months and can make an observation that might be valuable to readers: this container has an odd shape - it's hard to spot. and requires two hands - and if I had to do it again I would buy one of the larger ones that are easy to grip with one hand.
