The brush itself is great but it didn't fit my teenage son. Yes, I believe it's partial user error, but really. If you have THICK ROUGH hair this will not work. Still, it won't be easy. My daughter has thick straight hair. My other son has long thin hair. It helped detangle fine hair; his fine hair quickly irritates. And my daughter enjoys it. But I bought it because we were struggling to find a comb that fits my son who has very thick long thick coarse hair. Almost a horse. It's really pretty, but it's damn hard to maintain. He said he likes where the brush goes, but the shorter bristles don't even get into his hair. I'd rather go back, but it's a brush so I won't. Someone will come in handy around the house. I thought it would be a miracle brush, but I don't think it's for everyone. Wouldn't buy.
