This brush is amazing! I wish I had bought it sooner. I was initially skeptical because I had previously used the classic Tangle Teezer brush on one of my clients and it was awful. She did nothing for tangled hair and her bristles were bent. Then I learned that not every brush is for every hair type, so I recommend this brush if you have fine hair prone to breakage, low to medium density. I personally try to take care of my hair as much as possible, so I can't say if it works well on damaged…

This is not a powerful large brush as advertised. The bristles are low enough that they don't cut my hair or detangle it and I have very thin hair. If it still can't cut through my hair on fine hair, it won't work on normal or thick hair. This is more suited to children and I think it would be a great brush for children with sensitive scalps who don't have very thick hair.

I bought my first TT over 10 years ago (and yes I still use it). I've tried a few fakes over the years just to have extra features, they seemed to work just as well as the brand but they all had the same useless excuse. The brush itself is great but it didn't fit my teenage son. Yes, I believe it's partial user error, but really. If you have THICK ROUGH hair this will not work. Still, it won't be easy. My daughter has thick straight hair. My other son has long thin hair. It helped detangle fine hair; his fine hair quickly irritates. And my daughter enjoys it. But I bought it because we were struggling to find a comb that fits my son who has very thick long thick coarse hair. Almost a horse. It's really pretty,

They don't lie when they say this is the perfect detangler! I have type 4C hair that constantly struggles with dryness and magical (single tier) knots. I've been using this detangler for 4 days straight and I'm SHOCKED! I've tried countless brushes (Felicia Leatherwood, EZ Detangler, Denman) and this one is the best! I still start with a wide tooth comb and stop with this brush once my conditioner or DC has somewhat dissolved and hardened. I am obsessed and will not return!

This brush is better for loose textured hair in my opinion. I have type 4 curly hair and while I would say this brush detangles hair well, with type 4 hair you just need to be careful to use conditioner on wet hair to avoid tangles and brittleness from tips to roots to minimize. Definitely worth buying. take it easy

I just got this and I'm so excited to try it. I have type 4 very curly hair and I know it does an excellent job of detangling my hair.
