I wasn't sure how good this rug would be but decided to try it on my large miniature horse. I was surprised how beautiful it really is! The duvet is definitely a good filling, thick for the winter and lined and will probably withstand even the worst of our Minnesota storms. It's very durable and the stitching is excellent - nothing sticks out, there are no protruding threads and no places to tear. It doesn't contour the back like other brands. So if you have a chunky miniature like mine, it might look a little silly with a straight back, but it contours where it really matters, on the chest and hips. . Therefore, when properly fitted, chafing is minimal. I'm happy with the fit and quality so far!
