Review on ๐Ÿต Stovetop Safe Teapot by Teabloom Kyoto by Edgar Rowe

Better than I expected

I really like this kettle. I have several depending on what tea I use. I use cast iron - ceramic, porcelain, and this is the 2nd transparent glass. My 1st also has a clear glass brewer which I use to watch the jasmine beads open. They are all in the 16 ounce range or a little more. It was a debate on my part to get 24 or more ounces. I chose 24 ounces so I don't have to reheat anything for later in the day. I don't know where it is made but the quality is the same as my first high quality German glass. I really like this size and shape, which I appreciate; easy to clean. This was chosen for several reasons. 1 - I wanted one with a metal brewer so I didn't have to use a strainer over my mug. It serves that purpose and I was very surprised to find it was larger than I expected. I wanted one to be larger than my other teapots to allow the leaves to unfurl fully. Brilliant - simply brilliant, again in size in relation to the teapot. The packaging was very good. There is a Teabloom logo on the bottom of the kettle, but as far as I can see it's not a wand like many others. This is my second Teabloom purchase and I am impressed. I admit that I constantly look up products on Revain and elsewhere to compare. There was a product on Revain that featured larger tea sets (not this one) that a lot of people bought, but the reviews weren't that great. When I went to the real website that makes this product, that size wasn't there. So do your research, check the reviews, keep researching. With this teapot and my previous article, I give Teabloom a thumbs up.dk+

Pros
  • DESIGN TWO IN ONE WARM AND COOL. For use as a kettle on the stove and for making tea, heat the water and then brew the tea in the same vessel. The tea filter is conveniently placed in the kettle. For added versatility, remove the Kyoto stainless steel teapot and glass lid and boil water in the microwave - no separate kettle required.
Cons
  • Can't remember
