It definitely takes a lot of effort to use this scraper but it absolutely gets the job done. The magnet is very strong and one pass removes all traces of algae on my tank glass.

Cost over $100, poor quality. The scraper head rusted after just two weeks. Very frustrating. Also, it hardly sticks through the glass. I really expected more.

I bought this aquarium glass cleaner in January and couldn't be happier. I used to struggle to keep the walls of my saltwater tank algae free and it became such a problem that the tank had to be reinstalled. Great work and trouble. This cleaner and scraper is great, requires little effort, covers large areas very quickly and thanks to the combination of scraper and pad, my algae problems are a thing of the past.

I am the proud owner of Mag-Float aquarium cleaners and have always been very happy with them except when it comes to scraping off calcareous algae. This product solves this problem perfectly. Finally I no longer need a magnetic float to clean the inside of the aquarium and another scratching tool. This amazing product fills both needs. I know it's a small price but believe me it's worth it.

I bought this product after reading 2 or 3 reviews. We have 150 gallons and some tough seaweed! We had a slightly smaller size and the magnet wasn't strong enough to really clean. It got rid of all the hard algae as soon as we put it in there. (with some fat of course) You have to be careful how you put it on the glass, it breaks very hard so watch your fingers! We also have that for you with a scraper. It works great without, we were just afraid of scratching the glass.

The front of my 73 gallon nose was covered with colonies of algae that usually take a lot of washing to remove. It's a giant, but if you slowly move the pieces together and apart, it's easy to add and remove from the tank each time. In just a few passes, the front of my tank was completely cleared. It takes a bit of effort to get this to work, and you really want to avoid sealant and gravel (stop immediately and remove at least one piece of gravel if it gets between the pieces). I know after…

Expensive but we needed it. I love the new design with the scraper attached. I didn't read the instructions before buying it says don't leave it in the tank. I think the blade will rust or something.
