The price initially put me off. But then I read some reviews and comments about the quality of this scraper. So I dared. How glad I am that I did. I have several brightly lit large glass aquariums. Light equals algae. I used to wear my wrist down with smaller scrapers. They just didn't make it. The magnet is strong. The flat surface of the scraper is larger than the palm of my hand. Equipped with a replaceable metal blade. This sign is at the right angle of inclination, like a plow in front of a fall area. It is positioned at a precise angle to accommodate the algae. Glass doesn't scratch. I don't think I would use this powerful device on an acrylic pool. I give this tool 5 stars. It deserves.
