Apparently, unlike many others, my lug SIMPLY fell off the cable leaving the lug INSIDE MY IPAD - the first time I used it. I am always very careful with cables. I have NEVER had a case where a spade lug has come loose from the cable let alone closed in my device. Unfortunately I bought this cable some time ago and it is non-returnable. BUYER ATTENTION!
