Purchased 20th October 2016. Installed it myself and still works. The only issues I've had are: 1. If you run these wires through uneven holes, they will get stuck. I think this is more of a user error than a product error. 2. In the last 3 months my DVR restarted by itself. I record 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with motion activation enabled, so I'm consuming a lot of disk space, so the system may not stay alive.3. The camera app on your phone could be a little better. I had to download the program several times before it worked. Not scary but needs work.4. The screws and threaded ring that allow the camera to twist and turn can present an issue when moving it. It was a gall on me. Use a little oil and be careful. Honestly, for a third of the cost of buying almost the same system from Wal-Mart/Costco/Sams Club.etc. You get a perfectly adequate all-in-one system!
