GENERAL: First of all I have to say that these dog boots are amazingly high quality. They are definitely difficult. My girl walked on water, mud, dry thorn bushes, and the boots still look like I just took them out of the box. The paws were dry. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Kurgo's customer service is excellent. Due to sizing issues, I was sent a very small size for the rear legs at no additional cost. I was really blown away and just loved how much they care about my girl's comfort! TIPS AND WARNINGS: Well I know a lot of people buy dog boots to protect their paws. That's what they're here for. However, you should know that dogs, like our own shoes, need to break in their own shoes. There's no way around it. You may notice small sores formed on their dewclaws, but DON'T PANIC. People are seriously exaggerating when they say boots hurt their dogs. We also suffer from blisters when we jump into new vans and immediately try to drive in them. Once again, be patient. Make sure you start with short walks and keep doing this until the boots start to soften. Don't walk your dog right away because it's just irresponsible. Help them get used to booties. Everything will be fine! Also, size is an important issue. First I ordered a medium size as my husky mix has a 2.6 paw width. The average size was EXCELLENT. She kept tripping and the boots looked very wrinkled, as if there was too much room around her toes. I took the leap of faith and went down to a smaller size and they fit like a glove. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size, trust me. Rating: 10/10 for me so far. Dry paws, comfort, excellent design and durability. I'll definitely post an update later.
