I wish I had bought this sooner, it paid for itself in a few weeks. We switched to YouTubeTV via Xbox so I finally realized how many batteries we were using. Can't tell if they really last as long as they say, charge times etc. Can tell my son and husband play games and we use the controller to control the TV and we don't change batteries so often. Just make sure we charge the old one as soon as it dies so we have a constant supply. I haven't used it as a controller charging station, but when we do it works great. Never resort to alkaline batteries for controllers again
