Extra long cords on ceiling lights
They hang very low. If you want to adapt shorter ones, be prepared to cut and splice the cables. I wanted mine to be 12"-16" and not have the extra cord fit behind the base. So it cannot be installed. If you hire a professional, you may be fine. It cuts and splices for you. In addition, ordinary glasses do not fit on the tops.
