Fantastic formula for collages. I've been struggling to find a paper-to-paper binding media without severe unwanted warping and warping - the solution is yes! Insertion. The reason it works so well on paper is because of its thickness: unlike other gels and mediums, yes! Paste, but can be processed / distributed / applied very well: Consistency yes! The paste is a slightly melted glue stick and the best part is that you can choose any size brush to apply it. In my experience, noodles stay usable/adjustable for a fantastic amount of time, before it hardens and offers excellent strong adhesion - if you apply it in a thin and fairly even layer you will achieve perfect paper bonds.
