READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY! DENGEROUS PRODUCT

I purchased this in December 2017 and am writing this review in February 2019. I've learned the hard way how dangerous this chair is and I hope it will save other people from finding the same one To make mistakes. I used the chair to help with my constant lower back problems, I used it fairly regularly for about 6 months. In June 2018, I started having cramps in my right calf. The pain gradually increased over about a week to the point where I couldn't sleep or walk at night. I called the doctor and was immediately sent for an ultrasound to remove clots and a full blood count to rule out any serious defects. At that moment I never associated the problems with the chair and the legs. After nearly a month of doctor visits, multiple tests, and over $1,000 in co-payments for treatment, the pain subsided and eventually disappeared. I didn't use a chair back then because it hurt to sit on it. In January 2019 my lower back pain got worse again and I decided to get the chair out of the basement. This time I only used it for about 2 weeks. I started to feel pain in my left ankle. This time I knew immediately it had to be a chair. So I stopped doing it immediately. Unfortunately the damage has already been done, my ankle is swollen and the pain in my heel is getting worse by the day. I could barely walk today and if it doesn't get better in a few days I'll have to see the doctor again. This time I know I hurt my leg with the chair. I hope people out there self-education. There are some studies from the 1980's that suggest that the benefits of relieving back pain do not outweigh the severe damage to the foot/leg that this chair can cause due to reduced blood flow. I hope my leg is better but the chair is going in the trash tomorrow!
