MAM are the only pacifiers my 15 month old has used and refuses all others. you are so cute Unfortunately, with two naughty dogs, I spend about $40 a month replacing chewed pacifiers (I've tried clamps and everything in them, there's just no way to stop those naughty dogs). The only concern is that they are difficult to clean. But just use a bottle brush, check all the parts to make sure there is no dirt build up. I also like that they come in a self-sanitizing, microwavable box. Also, hair and other debris can sometimes get into the base of a real pacifier, but you will encounter these problems with any pacifier. My son only took MAM on his birthday too. She has never interfered with breastfeeding, her son is 15 months old and has just started walking.
