The cameras do exactly what I bought them to do. The red light flashing every 2 seconds is perfectly visible at night. At first I thought it was too much, but you understand there's a camera in there. Stand 100-200 feet. Away from the street when you face the house at night you can see red lights at each end of the house. The only thing that bothered me was that the battery didn't last long. Of course, it's only 2 small AAA batteries per camera. But x4. I just looked at the install date, it's been about 3 months so the batteries lasted 3 months.
