This is a great single amp solution for most of my DIY boomboxes! Most amps don't offer bass and treble controls, to get really good bass I had to buy another board and don't get me wrong the sound quality was great. This amp now includes the bass and treble controls on the same board, reducing cost and additional connector boards, simplifying the design. Load 4 ohm BTL at 21V (TPA3116D2). Please refer to the Texas Instruments data sheet. I've used several amplifier boards with the TI TPA3116 and haven't had to use more than 12V DC for more than adequate volume levels. Happy to find this TPA3116 amplifier board with bass and treble controls and will be using more in the near future. This board simplified the design of my homemade boomboxes for me. I'm going to make an audio system for one of my computers that doesn't already have it. I quickly tested this board with a 12V SLA battery and connected the output to two (2) compact two-way Micca COVO-S bookshelf speakers (also available from Revain, ASIN: B00N8265I8) and an MP3 player connected to the input jack. (3.5 mm) and was amazed by the sound quality. Great bass and treble! If you need an amp for a project give this one a try, it has plenty of power and as it comes with bass and treble controls you can't go wrong and it's super easy to hook up too!
