I have always loved this product, from day one when I came across it many years ago. It never gets old. It's just unlike anything on the market, at least in that part of the world (west). It's more common in Asia I've seen. Anyhow, the product I purchased seems and smells genuine, very strong when first opened, but gradually fades after 1-3 weeks depending on the weather and storage location. Heat will kill any perfume faster as it will dissipate faster, so open it partially and don't hold it in direct sunlight. This lasts longer in colder climates. But for me, car air fresheners never last longer than 3 weeks. At this point it still smells very nice but doesn't really penetrate the air. But I still buy them every now and then because the smell really makes me smile. If they were cheaper I would even use them in my room all year round.
