(update) I've been using it for a few months and I think it's a little champion. I use it often and it lasts forever on the batteries I originally put in. I even accidentally left it on overnight a couple of times. This is a great little fan at a good price. I love this humble battery powered fan. The blades are narrow; They don't offer strong airflow. In other words, it's designed to be used in close proximity. I placed my two feet away from my face on the table. I especially like that it's quiet. It's light (1 lb) and compact. This requires two D batteries (not included). There are two speeds. It has neither a power cable nor a USB charging port. It runs entirely on batteries and no cords, and I was drawn to its simplicity. It's practical and it works. I'm glad I have it.
