The Mairdi headset is exactly what I wanted. It has a 3.5mm jack so it will work on my smartphone or laptop. The sound is great, with no tinny tone or echo, and the audio transmission (people on the other end of the line) report excellent sound quality. The headset fits over any ear with soft ear pads. The headband is adjustable. The headset seemed comfortable to me. I mainly use it for business calls and need a headset that I can wear for long periods of time without discomfort. This provides ease of use. The microphone arm can be adjusted to fit either side of the head. You can swing the boom up and to the side. The connection cable is long. So when you're connected to a desktop laptop, you have a lot of freedom of movement. The control panel is large and easy to use. There is a volume wheel and an on/off switch. Please note that this will mute the headset microphone. A phone or laptop microphone cannot be muted. I prefer a wired Bluetooth headset. No worries about charging batteries, no connection problems. Good clean sound.
