The name says that of course I don't know how it will last over time, but I will say that I am optimistic even when I first unpacked it am. The box is well made, each of its two parts is in its own plastic bag, which feels better than regular plastic bags - it has a tactile friction and softness that cheap bags don't really have. It's securely packed. The base is a solid weight, and the pre-assembled stand and bracket sits tight enough on the receiver that it appears the screw is actually only there for added security. The mount itself feels like sturdy plastic, and the hinge doesn't fall off at all under the weight of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Raising and lowering does not require a fastener to be tightened or loosened, but uses internal friction. If you pick it up, it stays where you set it. with no initial drops or slippage in the last 15 minutes. My first answer is that I plan to buy another one for my desktop at home and I just love this thing. If this changes I will update the review.
