Destroyed two SD cards

I was very happy to use this case but it destroyed the cards I put in it. When I opened it, I inserted the SD card and heard a crackling noise. I thought it was a faulty card so I tried a different one and it broke too. The top left corner of the map is shattered. I tried to insert a photo but it didn't work.
