Pros: This machine is without a doubt as good as the expensive brands. The overall functionality, fit, and finish far outweigh the price. The engine is SUPER quiet. Easy assembly, simple button operation and excellent juicing. The pulp is fairly dry, better than any of the 6 or so juicers I've had in the 22 years I've been making. The pulp, which has always been a problem with every juicer I've had in the past, be it a $100 or $500 juicer, is at a very minimal level. See posted photos. For this review, I juiced a whole pineapple and grapefruit. These two fruits always cause problems with clogging and low juice output with my other juicers and I am happy to report that this is NOT the case with Megawise. I've always found juicing these two fruits wasteful, but after getting almost 40 ounces of juice (2 20 ounce Mason jars) I'm really impressed. The ease of disassembly and much less cleaning time than any other juicer I've had didn't disappoint me in the slightest. Cons: The only downside I see is the narrow gutter. A little more prep is required as you will need to cut the food into smaller pieces. This is a very minor issue for me as the quality and yield this thing produces is amazing. Another downside, and this applies to ANY juicer, is the built-in cord storage. It would be great to have some sort of mechanism or built in storage for the cord, but then again I'm not really making up my mind here. Conclusion: This is a very high quality juicer in an upper and lower price range. I've had an Omega juicer that cost me over 3 times that juicer and Megawise matches or exceeds the premium features of top brands. I still can't stress how clear and pulpless the juice is, but the most important detail is the juice yield. I'm still shocked how much. I have never had such good juice from these machines as from Megawise.
