I bought this monitor mainly because it fits my budget and the top comments say it's good for coding. I assure you it is not. Text isn't clear even with all sorts of anti-aliasing, font smoothing, and thin stroke options enabled (any permutation). You can easily see individual pixels with the naked eye when the monitor is 3 feet away. For software development purposes, this monitor is pretty bad.
