I bought this to see if it would be better than a less expensive similar product that uses a standard wireless transmitter instead of bluetooth. I really wanted to reduce the conflicting signals associated with both legacy wireless and Bluetooth. This thumbball works reasonably well, although switch placement isn't exactly intuitive. However, the big problem is the rest provided. It doesn't hold the device securely and the device is easily pushed out of the stand, falls on the floor or similar. This drop can inevitably loosen the thumb rest that rolls under the furniture. This happened often enough to drive me crazy! So, a great idea poorly executed in design.
